Handcrafted from solid live edge black walnut, the natural outer edge of the slab is fully preserved — the organic curves, the bark line, and the grain movement that took decades to develop are all visible in the finished piece. The black epoxy river flows between the two walnut slabs with a variable width, creating a dark, dramatic channel that contrasts beautifully against the rich, chocolatey tones of the walnut. No two builds are ever identical — the grain pattern, edge profile, and river character of your table will be uniquely its own.

At 48 inches long by 24 inches wide and 1.5 to 1.75 inches thick, this table has the right proportions for most living room configurations — substantial enough to anchor a sofa arrangement without overwhelming the space. Black steel legs at 18 inches set the table at the ideal coffee table height, with a clean, minimal base that keeps the focus on the surface above.

The surface is finished with Rubio Monocoat, a premium single-coat hardwax oil that protects the walnut while preserving its natural warmth, texture, and character. Unlike polyurethane coatings, Rubio Monocoat bonds with the wood fibers rather than sitting on top of them — the result is a surface that looks and feels completely natural while standing up to daily use.
