Every piece of furniture built by Riverside Workshop is handcrafted with care using premium materials. We stand behind our work.

What Is Covered

Riverside Workshop provides a 1-year workmanship warranty on all custom furniture against defects in craftsmanship and materials from the date of delivery.

What Is Not Covered

The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, accidents, or negligence, normal wear and tear over time, damage caused by exposure to excessive heat, moisture, or direct sunlight, scratches, dents, or surface damage occurring after delivery, natural wood movement (checking, minor cracking) caused by environmental humidity changes, or modifications made to the piece after delivery.

Natural Wood Characteristics

All our furniture is made from solid natural wood. Natural characteristics including grain variation, colour variation, knots, mineral streaking, and minor movement with seasonal humidity changes are not defects — they are features of real wood and are not covered under warranty. We recommend maintaining consistent indoor humidity levels (35–55% relative humidity) to minimize natural wood movement.

Making a Warranty Claim

To make a warranty claim, contact us at riversideworkshops@gmail.com within the warranty period with your order details and photos of the issue. We will assess the claim and work with you on a resolution, which may include repair, refinishing, or replacement at our discretion.

Shipping for Warranty Claims

For approved warranty claims, Riverside Workshop will cover reasonable repair or replacement costs. Return shipping costs for warranty repairs are the responsibility of the customer unless the defect is determined to be a manufacturing fault.
